  • Tickets of some important concerts can be arranged for them upon prior request.

Other Instructions:

Parents may attend the classes to follow their child’s progress, but are requested not to interfere with the teaching methods while the class is on. Nudging your ward to follow the teacher’s instructions during classes, should be avoided, for this can be a distraction and also undermines the confidence of the child. Some classes are held in private residencies to generate a close and convenient feel of learning; there too, privacy of the host should be respected.

Workshops and concerts are held throughout the year and students and parents are encouraged to attend them to take note of the level of playing and encourage the students in their efforts. Some concerts were held last season, including some home concerts, where students took part along with established artistes of high stature. This tradition will be continuing throughout the coming quarter, so please make sure that your concert information is update and make prior plan to attend, for these programmes offer a great insight to the art of percussion and music as a whole.

Attending classes on a regular basis is important, it is mandatory to practice regularly at home.

We sincerely try to make the learning experience fun and fulfilling for the students. By the same token, please do not hesitate to contact any of the teachers if you have any concerns that you would like to share.

NOTE:Tabla students may opt for a free South Indian Rhythm Class on any Saturday with prior appointment with Ghatam Guru once a month and the same applies for the students of Ghatam, if they wish to have free Tabla class once a month.
