A competition, in memory of Guru Padmabhusan Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh, since 2016, to encourage talented students, both from India and abroad, to pursue their art form. The competition includes both Tabla and Pakhwaj. A cash reward is awarded to the top performers and the winners are given Certificates by an eminent personality, during Dhwani’s Grand Annual Concert ‘SAAZ AUR AWAZ’ and the best of all winners are given an opportunity to share the stage with the stalwarts, invited artistes of the festival.
